Tour Cancellation Policy
As a responsible tourism organization, we acknowledge the current global situation related to COVID-19 and the ways in which it may impact our tours. At this time, we are not canceling our tours, but are closely monitoring the situation both in Mexico and worldwide, and following the hygiene recommendations issued by the World Health Organization, Mexican Secretariat of Health, and the Center for Disease Control. The safety of our guests, staff, and community members is our first priority and we are making decisions accordingly.
In the case that we need to cancel your tour because of the Coronavirus risk or because of other circumstances, such as weather, we will issue you a full refund. Please check your email at least 24 hours before your tour to receive last-minute information.
If you are concerned about participating in the tour, experiencing flu-like symptoms, or have recently traveled to an area with reported cases of the COVID-19 virus, we encourage you to cancel or reschedule your tour and will issue you a full refund. Please give us as much advance notice as possible.
Because we pay our local partners fairly for their time, we require a minimum of 6 tour participants to run a Heartland Traditions Tour. In the event that a tour has fewer than 6 participants, we will contact you to reschedule or refund your tour.
No-shows will not receive a refund.
