Viewing Parties

Deepen your connection with one of Human Connections’ partner families by joining a Viewing Party. We have commissioned professional 30-minute documentaries to showcase our partners’ family lives and perspectives, leveraging technology to feature parts of their experiences rarely discussed during our day tours. During a Viewing Party, we will invite our partner into our office, where he or she will be able to connect with our virtual audience via a live Zoom conference. After a welcome with the HC staff, the partner will introduce his or her documentary, which we will then screen with subtitles for our guests. The Viewing Party ends with a 20-minute live Q&A with our partner, translated by our tour guides.
HOST
Bring Bucerias to the homes of your friends and family by inviting them to join a Viewing Party you organize. As the host of a Viewing Party, you have the opportunity to choose the date and partner that is featured, and then guide the conversation during the party itself. In this way, you can share the Human Connections experience with people you love, while simultaneously empowering our partner. The only commitment we need from you as a host is your support in signing up at least 5 guests to join your party. Since everyone can connect virtually, this is a face and rewarding experience!
The Viewing Party represents our effort to persist in realizing our mission despite unexpected challenges. It also serves as a vehicle for others to demonstrate their generosity and commitment to the Human Connections family. We are excited about this new initiative, and invite you to be a part of it!
